ChangAn channeling Citroen for its forthcoming Shanghai crossover concept
Chinese automaker ChangāAn has a new crossover concept to show at the upcoming Shanghai Motor Show. Based on the sort-of translated press release, weāre betting the e301 uses some kind of electric drivetrain. But beyond that, weāll charitably say that details remain scarce, but we can clearly see a resemblance to some past Citroen concepts in the new CUVās oddball, asymmetrical shape.
Thereās definitely some Hypnos inspiration in the e301ās front and rear fascias and the gullwing doors are dead ringers for the portals from the quirky French automakerās C-MĆ©tisse four-door coupe from 2006. Regardless of its somewhat derivative styling, the e301 manages to look like tons of fun in an urban-Wrangler-kind-of-way.
