The Holiday Inn Express in Mechanicsville has been under renovation for the past three months. Shamin Hotels has replaced carpeting in the guest rooms and lobby, upgraded the guest room bedding and bathrooms, and made additional upgrades above and beyond the IHG Brand Standards.
The hotel, which originally opened in 1998, has 105 guest rooms and four suites on five floors. It features amenities such as an outdoor pool, complimentary breakfast, high-speed Internet access in all rooms, wireless Internet access in the lobby, and an on site health and fitness center. The Holiday Inn Select and the adjacent Hampton Inn (also owned and operated by Shamin Hotels) are the only hotels in the Mechanicsville area.
