Victoria De Mare produces and stars in the daring new short film Loving Gram Parsons
Shot like a documentary,Loving Gram Parsons tells the story of a former Ballerina named Esprit (De Mare) who is struggling to recover from heroin addiction after the tragic loss of her career. She is able to find solace in the music of Gram Parsons. She makes a pilgrimage to the hotel that the legendary singer/songwriter treated as his second home, and ultimately died in. While staying in his old room, she goes on a spiritual journey and is able to bring herself back from the depths of depression.
Victoria wears many hats on the production. Besides producing and starring in the film, De Mare also produced, co-arranged and sang vocals on the films original soundtrack. The DVD of Loving Gram Parsons is being distributed online via Victorias new distribution company; Vic Worldwide.
