Buy American Promotes New York Manufacturers In Asia
The industrial supply trade portal and blog for US-based manufacturers of industrial supplies, equipment and machinery Buy American, will focus its efforts on promoting New York companies in Asia.
New York, NY - Buy American, a division of the Industrial Leaders Group designed to support the U.S. industrial workforce by promoting American manufacturers worldwide announced today its plan to focus the month of June on promoting primarily New York-based manufacturers and exporters of industrial products.
According to Jennifer Lima, a spokeswoman for the company, the site enables New York and other US-based manufacturers to post and explore offers to buy and sell a wide range of industrial equipment, machinery and supplies utilizing its Industrial Marketplace & Classified. Lima said a number of manufacturers in New York City, Yonkers, Buffalo, Rochester, North Hempstead, Buffalo, Oyster Bay, Islip, Brookhaven and Hempstead are already being promoted either in the company's Industrial Auctions or other marketplaces on the site.
"Buy American was created by Donald LaBelle, the CEO of the Industrial Leaders Group in effort to help US manufacturers find importers and buyers of their products overseas," said Lima. She added, "The whole idea of Buy American is to create industrial jobs nationwide by marketing U.S. products in international markets. Currently, the focus is to promote New York manufacturers throughout Asia such as China, India, Malaysia, Japan, Vietnam, Pakistan, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan and South Korea."
