Land Banking is the trend to buy and hold on to land to sell or build at a later date. This is becoming a common practice as land sales show no sign of slowing down.

"Many land buyers are afraid that they will never again see land prices as low as $10,000 an acre and they are scooping up all the available land in North Florida," said Maria Gomez, Keller Williams Realtor, also known as TheCommercialExpert. "Finding the land is not easy. Much of North Florida land has been in families for generations. If you want to buy large tracks before they are promoted to the public you have to know someone."
