EnterFind Search Appliances are network-attached devices (servers) capable to index and search various documents on a corporate network. EnterFind technology offers unified search experience regardless of where the enterprise content is originated.

Starting with version 2.15 (available immediately), EnterFind Appliances can archive and search content of user-provided CDs and DVDs in addition to previously available capabilities to search Windows(tm) network shares, FTP and web sites and enterprise databases.

Users will be able to "feed" Appliance their CDs or DVDs. Appliance will copy the content internally and index it just like any other content. Documents found on backed up disks will be available to the Appliance users for a single-click retrieval.

For all types of content, EnterFind provides simple easy-to-use Web interface - a search page. Users on the network can use this search page to locate documents by entering one or more keywords just like they would do so when using the popular Internet search engines.

EnterFind Appliance includes Web Services-based Application Programming Interface (API) which allows programmers search the documents from their own applications.
