Hero Design Studio Celebrates First Year of Helping Ad Agencies rock



Hero Design Studio, a Denver-based provider of production services to advertising agencies, celebrates its first anniversary this month.

In December of 2005 Dan Lorch and Jeff Mason started the firm to provide print-production, graphic design, retouching and project management services to agencies.

Today'ss ad agencies are more nimble. Their staffs are more focused on creating great ideas, said Lorch. They rely on Hero to handle the complexities of design and production. We bring agencies's ideas to life.

The firm has earned the trust of Colorado'ss leading agencies.

When our people are busy and we have a project, we want more than just any freelancer, said Norm Shearer, creative director of Cactus, one of Colorado'ss most award-winning ad agencies. The folks at hero have the skills to handle anything we throw at them.

We need heroes. Shearer continued. The team at Hero is like the roadies for The Stones. You know, the people behind the scene handling the details so the band, and our projects, can rock.

Hero'ss work has included retail packaging, corporate collateral, multi-language catalogs, point-of sale systems and environmental graphics.

The firm'ss principals have experience with nationally known creative shops including Fallon Worldwide, Duffy Partners, The Integer Group and the Sterling-Rice Group.
