Slack Barshinger, a leading U.S. business-to-business integrated marketing communications agency, has promoted Gayle Novak to director of client services, replacing Steve Johnson, who left the agency at the end of April.
Novak, a vice president and partner, joined Slack Barshinger in March 2004 as a client team leader with responsibility for agency clients Fellowes, Underwriters Laboratories and Diebold.
In her expanded role, she will lead the agency's account-management team in delivering high-quality counsel and services to the firm's entire client base.
"One of Slack Barshinger's defining attributes is the caliber of strategic counsel and implementation that we offer our clients," said Novak. "I'm looking forward to working with all of
our integrated disciplines to add even more value to our client relationships."
Prior to joining Slack Barshinger, Gayle held senior client-service and management positions at Mobium Creative Group, Doner Advertising, Ernst & Young, Temerlin McClain and Wyse
Advertising.
"Gayle is trusted and valued by clients and co-workers alike for her strategic thinking, sound counsel and deep dedication to understanding client needs and business issues," said Gary
Slack, Chairman and Chief Experience Officer. "In this much-deserved new role, which I should call Director of Cloning, she will help make sure we continue to deliver a consistently high
level of service to our clients."
