January 26, 2005 -- The Atlanta Chapter of American Marketing Association (AMA) announces the 19th Annual Collegiate Conference scheduled for February 25.The Collegiate Conference is a
career networking and educational event with various activities. The event will be held at America's Mart in Downtown Atlanta and features speakers focused on areas of interest for
college students such as diversity of marketing, careers in marketing, personal business foundations, experiences of recent graduates and ten secrets every executive should know. Complete

"The Collegiate Conference is designed to help students better understand how to talk with marketing professionals about different career paths and to gain insight into matching their
credentials and personal interests with a potential field of marketing interest," says Ashley Leckey, Conference Co-Chairperson. Over the years, the Collegiate Conference has consistently
been well-received in the Atlanta area. The event reaches out to undergraduate and graduate students from Southeastern colleges and universities. Attendees are pursuing careers or
internships in marketing-related fields and most are pursuing degrees in marketing, advertising, or business. In general, attendees are motivated, committed students who are highly
dedicated to pursuing marketing careers.
"Students attend because they realize this "real-world" information is important for job-hunting. They gather critical information in representing their image, skills and talents to
potential employers in new and unique formats and there is networking for future job potentials," adds Jiri Vala, the other Co-Chairperson.
The Conference
The event lasts all day and begins in the morning focusing on trends and careers in the industry. The afternoon will focus on career building. The Career & Vendor Fair will be open
