8211;- Automation Alley today announced a new CompanyCrafters seminar series on the launching new businesses. The four-part series, entitled, 's8220;The Science of Building New
Businesses: Go-to-Market Strategies for New Products and Services,'s8221; will discuss a thorough, step-by-step approach to planning and launching a new businesses. The seminars will be
held as 2-hour breakfast sessions at Automation Alley'ss headquarters in Troy, Michigan.
Over the series of four seminars, CompanyCrafters will walk through the science of business planning, providing attendees with a repeatable set of methods and best practices for launching
successful businesses. The first seminar, entitled Analyzing the Market Opportunity for New Products and Services, will take place on September 26th, 2006. This session will focus on
exactly how new ventures can develop an in-depth understanding of their customers, markets and value proposition. The instructors will describe how to segment markets and evaluate
alternative segments, how to develop and refine a value proposition, and how to best position a business against competitors.
Subsequent seminars in the series will continue to build on the step-by-step process of business planning by discussing how to define the optimal business model, developing a winning
marketing execution, and financing new businesses. The four seminars will take place on the following dates:
