Austin, TX February 18, 2009 -- VisionEdge Marketing announced Laura Patterson, cofounder and president of VisionEdge Marketing, has been selected as one of the featured speakers hosting an exclusive session at the acclaimed 2009 RISE Conference. In its third year, RISE - a Relationship 's38; Information Series for Entrepreneurs - is an annual conference series dedicated to providing a free forum for entrepreneurs to connect and exchange ideas that inspire the entrepreneurial spirit. Targeting, customer-centricity and metrics will be the secret ingredients Patterson shares with her session participants. Many of the concepts will come from her newest book, Marketing Metrics in Action: Creating a Performance Driven Marketing Organization. A long-time Austinite and 10-year entrepreneur, Patterson takes a hands-on practical approach with a process you can put it to work right way.

In this economy having a focused, customer-centric, measurable marketing plan is a must and the session is all about being able to work smarter in this challenging environment, said Laura Patterson, president.
