NewBeauty Magazines Website Wins Interactive Multimedia Marketing Award



Sandow Media today announced that it was awarded an interactive multimedia marketing award for NewBeauty magazine'ss website, NewBeauty.com at the 2nd Annual South Florida Interactive Excellence Awards event on April 20, 2007.



NewBeauty.com like NewBeauty magazine, features thorough information about the latest beauty products and cosmetic procedures. Sandow Media was presented with the award for the Most Effective Technology, Telecommunications, Business Products or Services Campaign or Site during the SoFIE Awards Gala, which took place at the Diplomat Country Club and Resort in Hallandale Beach, Florida. The SoFIE Awards recognize the finest in cutting-edge interactive marketing campaigns in the South Florida region.



We'sre honored to receive this award. As a publishing and media company in the beauty industry, it was a major part of the company'ss strategy to create a multiple-channel approach to the subject of beauty, said Jerry Mica, Senior Interactive Creative Director at Sandow Media. The idea was to provide our users with a truly unique brand-content experience and to create a platform for us to publish timely content for our users. It'ss nice to have the acknowledgement from our peers that we'sve met that objective.



As part of their interactive site development campaign, Sandow Media'ss interactive team--Brian Wilpon, Michel Pons, Joey Green, Steve Branding and Mica--transformed NewBeauty magazine'ss website into an online gateway for cosmetic surgery and beauty product information. Within their interactive multimedia marketing campaign, they launched DailyBeauty.com NewBeauty'ss blog, integrated with content including editorial, imagery, video and custom templates. The campaign launched in December 2006.
