January 31, 2005 -- The New England Informer newsmagazine (NEI) came to life in July 2004 and set its goal to become the premiere news distributor for Black people residing in Greater New
England. At a time when many black publications, print and on-line are being bought out, sold and become predominately white owned, New England Informer, with its high quality and
thought-provoking format, continues to deliver news straight to the core and pulse of the Black community.
The New England Informer's mission is to disseminate information, which informs and empowers members of the Black community. Readers will find stories concerning people, arts &
entertainment, history, business & finance and more. Readers will also find N.E.I's collaboration with Jason's Project in Nebraska where she features missing persons, children and
adults, something we have not been able to find anywhere except on New England Informer's website. The New England Informer is driven by the rhythm of life in the communities and every
article written and topic covered will reflect what is most important to Black people.
Advertising in today's multi-cultural markets requires a marketing strategy designed exclusively for the multi-cultural consumer. NEI is building its base to become a premiere tool
providing a forum for businesses; educational institutions and entrepreneurs to advertise and reach the tremendous spending power in Black communities.
NEI's online version extends the newsmagazine's reach from New England to cities and towns across the country. You can find New England Informer's national on-line version at www.neinformer.com
