May 14, 2005 -- Point B Communications/Chicago added a St. Lucia real estate development to its client base today, according to Robert Grusin, president of the full-service marketing
firm.
DCG Properties, Ltd., a United Kingdom-based developer, selected Point B after a global search for their agency of record. Point B will create the name and identity for the destination,
and will develop the strategic direction for media, direct mail, sales and business collateral, interactive and public relations initiatives.
The international marketing campaign spans both domestic and overseas markets for this multi-phased development project at Praslin (pronounced "prah' lin") Bay on one of St. Lucia
Island's most pristine and protected coastlines.
The first phase of the Praslin Bay development includes over 200 condominiums, private residences, a four-star branded resort, a signature 18-hole golf course, health spa, casino and
conference facilities. The estate rises to a ridge line which is 186 meters (610 feet) above sea level providing spectacular views from every location overlooking the bays and the
Atlantic. Expected completion of Phase One is planned for early 2007, coinciding with the 2007 Cricket World Cup to be held in the Caribbean (with St. Lucia hosting a participating
venue). Phase two will feature the addition of vacation ownership condos, a marina, and a marina village encompassing inland waterways and moorings with retail and restaurant outlets.
Phase three incorporates residential building plots and condominiums within gated communities.
"We are delighted to award the marketing contract to Point B Communications and look forward to a rewarding relationship on this multi-phased project," said Kierron Dolby, Managing
Director of DCG.
