Point B Communications Wins Branding Campaigns for Lake Lawn Resort...



May 14, 2005 -- For Lake Lawn Resort, Point B will develop an integrated marketing communications program that includes repositioning the property, identity and brand development, print and broadcast advertising, precision marketing and sales collateral creation. The project, expected to cost more than $350 million in four phases, will ultimately provide 696 guest suites, adding 472 new rooms to the resort and hotel condominium complex.



The new property will also offer 100,000 square feet of new meeting space including a conference center, an 80,000 square foot indoor water park, a 30,000 square foot full-service spa with 90 dedicated units, a new golf clubhouse with attached guest suites for immediate access to the course, four major restaurants plus five lounges, a pub and several snack bars throughout the lakeside property. The restoration of Lake Delavan is also a component of the redevelopment. Gemstone Hotel and Resorts will manage the entire project.



For the Crowne Plaza Chicago Metro, property owner and developer David Friedman, president of F&F Realty, Ltd., selected Point B Communications to create the property's branding campaign including logo development, sales and in-house collateral, signage and direct marketing strategies. Most recently flagged the Rodeway Inn, the Chicago Metro hotel is currently undergoing a multi-million dollar renovation and redesign that will result in a contemporary business traveler destination with 27" flat screen TVs in every guest room, an on-site fitness facility, Wi-Fi and high-speed internet connectivity, event space for up to 300 attendees, and a signature restaurant in the thriving West Loop neighborhood.
