Promax BDA Announces Design Guru and Rhode Island School of DesignPresident...



Promax BDA (http://promaxbda.org/northamericaindex.asp), the leading global association for marketing, promotion and design professionals working in the entertainment industry, announced today a powerful slate of speakers from the design world to address the congregation at the annual conference June 16-18 in New York City. This year'ss elite group of presenters includes Rhode Island School of Design head, John Maeda; Justin Cone, Editor of Motionographer (http://motionographer.com/) and celebrated artist Ralph Steadman.

From advertising to film, and gaming to promotion, Cone'ss presentation will provide an exclusive look at the most compelling, innovative and eye-catching design work from every corner of the globe and every creative industry under the sun.



Also a highlight at this year'ss Promax BDA is illustrator and creative visionary, Ralph Steadman, perhaps best known for his collaborations with Hunter S. Thompson. He will engage the Promax BDA audience in a spirited, intimate conversation called Fear and Loathing in Creativity 's38; Design, which will cover the significance of adventure in life, the pursuit of creativity and the art of embracing the unknown.



These speakers add to the robust program of panels and sessions catering to the specific business needs of the design community at this year'ss Promax BDA conference.In a unique session titled Talent is not Enough, management consultant and author Shel Perkins will help attendees navigate the art of running a successful creative agency or design team. He will share his strategy of developing solid business skills, as well as the need to reconfigure to meet new project challenges and achieve long-term success.
