Described as "Peter Max colliding with Kandinsky," W. Doodle's Whimsical Worlds transport the viewer into lighthearted abstract scenes filled with geometry, color, wonderfully composed
spaces occupied by unfamiliar, otherworldly creatures. Each drawing represents a small segment of a much greater story to be completed or continued by the viewer. The works' titles denote
the quizzical aire of whimsy created by W. Doodle, for example, "The Rastafarian Flute-Harpist Arrived Late," and yes, he's there, but what "he" is, is not exactly certain. For men who
are addicted to their reflection, "A Beautiful Mind is Better than a Pretty Face" depicts a lesson on the vainness of a narcissist's vanity. Youngsters and oldsters, alike, chuckle as
they ponder the story behind each Whimsical Doodle.
