Seminar Series Refreshes Skills and Prepares Silicon Valley Marketers...



May 13, 2005 -- The Silicon Valley Chapter of the American Marketing Association (SVAMA) announces the launch of the "Marketing Essentials Seminar Series." The Seminar Series is a concise, fast-paced method of refreshing a marketer's expertise in the context of current, real-world examples shared by expert practitioners of the topics.



While the Series is open to anyone wishing to increase their marketing knowledge, it is specifically designed to help Bay Area marketers prepare for the American Marketing Association's Professional Certified Marketer (PCM ) exam.



The AMA's Professional Certified MarketerTM designation is the most comprehensive certification available in the marketing profession. PCM is an official recognition of professionals who clearly understand the science of marketing.



Participants will update their knowledge of marketing leadership and measurement, marketing alliances, global marketing, market research, buyer behavior and sales, brand management, positioning, pricing, customer value and loyalty, and e-commerce.



The Series will take place on Tuesday evenings from May 17 through June 28 and will feature experts from Global Minds Network, Phoenix Consulting Group, CustomerSat Inc., EB Marketing, ClearAction, San Jose State University, SR Funds, Market4Demand, Growth Process Group and UpRight Marketing.
