Social Networking eCommerce Web x.0

Goosca.com launched its service today that allows users to conduct their daily online social networking activities and online shopping on the same website. The new site possesses all common features that a typical social networking or dating site has, plus it offers users a variety of shopping items at reasonably low prices. One prominent feature regarding user shopping at Goosca.com is that not only can a user shop for him/herself, he/she can also shop gifts for friends (or even strangers) without knowing their addresses. Goosca.com and its associated vendors do the delivery of any gift purchased without revealing the gift recipient's real address to the buyers.

The company believes that a large percentage of social networking/dating sites users would not oppose the idea of receiving gifts from someone they only know for days or don't even know, as long as their real names and addresses can be kept confidential. However, most of today's such websites only allow their registered users to buy and send virtual gifts, which is far from satisfactory to many.

Alex Tung, Goosca's originator, has a very optimistic view of this new business model in the long run. "Membership fees and advertisement are the two main revenue sources for most social networking and/or dating sites. With the trend of ridding membership fees, these sites are striving to find new ways of revenue infusion," according to Alex. In his opinion, "Facebook + Amazon" is the way to go.

Goosca.com is a website operated by Idea Yoga LLC. To learn more of how the service works, visit http://www.goosca.com.
