TopTenWholesale.com CEO Jason Prescott Named among Top 40 Under 40...

TopTenWholesale.com the information superhighway for wholesale suppliers and distributors, announced today that its CEO, Jason Prescott, was named among this year's top 40 entrepreneurs under the age of 40 by San Diego Metropolitan Magazine.

Prescott received notification last week, with the full list of selected individuals to be announced in the publication's September issue.

"It's truly an honor to be included among such an esteemed group of talented business people," said Prescott. "But the real accolades go my staff at TopTenWholesale.com. I am also fortunate to work with the brightest, most fun and most passionate bunch of folks in the world, and they're the ones that make things for our company."

Prescott launched TopTenWholesale.com and its parent, JP Communications in 2005 to provide retail buyers and online auction sellers with access to premier wholesale merchandise sources and free information about the top tier of wholesalers. Today, the vertical search engine and directory has an expansive network that handles the advertising of more than 1,000 manufacturers, importers, wholesalers and distributors, including such giants as Overstock.com. After reaching revenue of over $1 million in its first year, the company now boasts 1,200 active advertisers in the wholesale community and reaches close to 30,000 retailers every day.

Prescott also serves on the education committee of The Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization (SEMPO), and is an active volunteer in the community, most recently by sponsoring the upcoming "SEH 5K Run" benefiting the San Ellijo Hills Elementary and Middle Schools.

San Diego Metropolitan's annual "40 Under 40" program recognizes the young leaders driving the future of business for the greater San Diego region. Honorees were selected by an independent panel of judges comprising of local, well-established business and community leaders. In addition to recognition in the publication's September issue, San Diego Metropolitan will also host a luncheon at the San Diego Convention Center on September 11.
