UK Security Directory Launched

The UK Security Directory was initially formed to create a comprehensive free to use directory of security companies, consisting of installers, manufacturers and providors of security products and services. However visitors requested that the basic news service was expanded and now the UK Security Directory brings security news from around the world, in conjunction with product news and industry annoucements.



Sarah Hawkins, editor, explained; "The UK Security Directory is a free website for all to use. Companies can register in the directory for free, with a direct link to their own website and other key information, likewise the news service is free. Visitors can either access the headlines on the website, or use the UK Security Directory newsfeed at http://www.uksecuritydirectory.co.uk/index2.phpoption=com_rss."



Since its launch the UK Security Directory has already had to move servers to cope with the number of daily visitors and users subscribing to the RSS feed service.
