vFluence Invests in Product Development to Meet Growing Demands Online...

v-Fluence Interactive Public Relations Inc. , a public affairs and issues management firm in the online environment, has named Bob Schmidt chief information officer and senior vice president. Schmidt brings more than 20 years experience in the field of information systems management.

Schmidt will direct product and information systems development for v-Fluence. He is the author/editor of the instructional manuals Data Modeling for Information Professionals and Infostructor. During his career Schmidt has also built information systems for giants such as Exxon, Michelin, Anheuser-Busch, and start-ups such as Orion Genomics.



Schmidt's8217;s work has earned him several prestigious honors including Master of Analysis from Ernst & Young; best speaker, and subsequently best paper, from Oracle Developers Group.



A graduate of Rice University with degrees in economics and business administration, Schmidt will work out of v-Fluence's8217;s St. Louis office.
