- As reported by users, the most important attributes of HMDs are:
1 .Usability, including the weight of the HMD, the ease of cable management and the time to properly adjust the HMD.
2. A panoramic, high-definition image.
3. High-quality underlying display components that provide a high-contrast, high-brightness image without motion blur.
- For most users, a 'good enough' HMD would have a field of view of at least 120x50 degrees, a resolution approaching HD 1080, yet weigh no more than 8-10 oz (approx 250 grams)
- With the exception of a pronounced trend towards higher-resolution, HD-quality HMDs, user needs remained essentially the same as those expressed in a similar survey in 2007.

"We believe that the key to widespread market adoption of head-mounted displays is a cost-effective combination of panoramic field of view, high definition display and ease of use, as outlined by the survey participants" says Yuval Boger, CEO of Sensics. "Our panoramic, high-definition HMDs already deliver many of the needs and wants of users worldwide. This year, we will introduce additional innovations to address additional attributes requested by the market".
