Nominations Now Open for Supplier Excellence Alliance SEA 2008 Aerospace Defense Supply Chain Awards

The Supplier Excellence Alliance (SEA) announced the nomination process is now open for the 2nd Annual SEA Aerospace & Defense Supply Chain Awards.

The SEA Aerospace & Defense Supply Chain Awards are open to all aerospace and defense supplier organizations, whether or not they are a SEA member company. The Awards process is designed to recognize the best of the best suppliers and highlight best practices leading to outstanding business performance. Award categories include:

- SEA Leadership & Culture Award

- SEA Workforce Development Award

- SEA Operational Excellence Award

- SEA Supply Chain Innovation Award

- SEA Customer of the Year Award

- SEA Richard Hall Award for Leadership Excellence

Award recipients will be determine by a panel of independent judges who will use the SEA Roadmap Criteria to evaluate supplier Applications. The SEA Roadmap is the process standard for four critical areas of a supplier's organization: Leadership & Culture, Workforce Development, Operational Excellence, and Business Results.

Awards will be announced at the Awards Gala to be held November 12, 2008 at the Hyatt Grand Champions Resort & Spa in Indian Wells, California (Palm Springs area).
