Thomson Laminations president, Mr. Sterling A. Martin stated that "The employees of our company done an extremely marvelous job and showed dedication to our commitment for Quality. We were seeking a partner with integrity to conduct our audit for AS9100B Quality Management System certification, and KEMA auditors went above and beyond to conduct an extremely thorough audit process, where we felt as partners rather then feeling stressed by the audit process". Benefits of obtaining this certification include providing access to the best practices of the aerospace industry, demonstrating commitment to delivering quality products and services to customers, bringing quality management system to a level with the global standards adopted by the aerospace industry, and reducing the number of second and third party audits. Additionally, achieving the AS9100B designation affords Thomson Lamination the opportunity to pursue new business opportunities that are inaccessible to non-AS9100 certified suppliers.
"We are proud to present this certification to Thomson Lamination on their achievement of meeting the standard for the Quality Management System, and their dedication to quality for the long term success of their company." said Pierre Salle, President of KEMA-Registered Quality, Inc.

About Thomson Lamination
Thomson Lamination Company (TLC) was established in 1964 by the late John B. Thomson, Jr. to produce laminations for electric motor manufacturers whose products were used in guidance and control, aerospace, medical equipment, process control and other industries requiring precision motor performance. Because of the critical nature of the laminations used by this segment of the motor industry, an unusually high level of engineering liaison and personal customer service is required to service these customers, characteristics which seemed to be lacking in the then existing lamination suppliers. Mr. Thomson, therefore, formed TLC to provide both the quality products and customer service, which have been the hallmarks of the Company from day one. This tradition of personal customer service established by Jack Thomson more than 35 years ago has been maintained meticulously to this day.
