CSCI to Exhibit at DoDIIS

CSCI will highlight its secure browser-based information sharing solutions and professional services (http://www.csci-va.com/csciweb/csciweb.nsf/content/professionalservices) to the Intelligence Community (IC) at the upcoming 2009 DoDIIS (Department of Defense Intelligence Information System) Worldwide Conference in Orlando, Fla., May 17-21. Headquartered in Springfield, Va., CSCI (http://www.csci-va.com/csciweb/csciweb.nsf/home) has provided specialized systems integration and subject matter expertise to organizations in the Department of Defense for 22 years.

CSCI'ss Cardinal Suite's8482; (http://www.csci-va.com/csciweb/csciweb.nsf/content/cardinalsuite) addresses the secure and confidential information sharing needs of government organizations in today'ss fast-paced cyber environment. The Cardinal Suite is a cross-platform, web-based document management, knowledge collaboration and personnel access management set of solutions. The suite consists of three individual products: Cardinal Collaborate's8482;, Cardinal Environment's8482; and Cardinal ID's8482;.

Cardinal is based on the secure Trusted Information Infrastructure (TII's8482;) environment that was developed by CSCI over 10 years ago to enable secure communications between trusted networks operating at Protection Level 3 within the DoD. The document management component (Cardinal Collaborate's8482;) of the Cardinal Suite's8482; allows communities of interest to share information in a user-defined and compartmentalized environment while ensuring that information is accessible only to those who need to know. The browser-based solution is currently undergoing an independent review by a cross-service, cross-agency team of federal Information Assurance officials to certify its authority to operate within an accredited Protection Level 3 environment.

CSCI will also have its one box, one wire solution on display with the SABRE's8482; Secure Services Delivery Platform. A modular, scalable and secure platform, the SABRE's8482; was developed to meet an organization'ss individual requirements, including switching, routing, high performance servers, high performance storage and encryption. Offering non-blocking switching and zero oversubscription, the SABRE will run on top of a NIAP-certified EAL 6+ secure kernel real-time operating system able to transmit multiple data classes from a single device over a single network (one box, one wire).

Our solutions are developed specifically to address today'ss critical information sharing requirements of the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community, said Bobby Hakenson, Director of Information Systems at CSCI. But the real key is to provide the security and compartmentalized capabilities that these systems require while maintaining an agile and intuitive user interface for people to work and collaborate effectively.
