Concepts NREC Team to Hold Complimentary Workshops and Exhibit atthe...

Concepts NREC (http://www.conceptsnrec.com/), a world leader in turbomachinery design, research, engineering and manufacturing, today announced that company representatives will hold two free Turbomachinery Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) Software workshops, each two hours in length, in conjunction with the 38th Annual Turbomachinery Symposium at the George R. Brown Convention Center, 1001 Avenida de las Americas, Houston, Texas, during the week of September 14. Concepts NREC will be an exhibitor at the show in booth number 1223/1225, where its representatives will give preview demonstrations of the soon-to-be-released Agile's8482; Engineering Design System's174; 2009 (Agile 2009) software. Engineers and business executives from all industries and specializing in turbomachinery will benefit from Concepts NREC'ss 50+ years of turbomachinery expertise behind each of the workshops and product demonstrations.

The symposium is for engineers and business executives concerned with maintenance, performance, troubleshooting, operation, and purchase of rotating equipment. Free Turbomachinery CAE Software Workshops (http://www.conceptsnrec.com/education_workshops.html): Attendees at Concepts NREC'ss complimentary Turbomachinery CAE Software workshops will learn how to design better products. They will learn how to use CAE tools and why they are important, in addition to gaining insight into:

> Integrated CAE tools that help in all engineering processes of turbomachinery from preliminary design, detailed design, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), finite element analysis (FEA), and optimization.

> How to leverage CAE software to design, test, and refine actual products based on standards and best practices.

The Concepts NREC workshops are for anyone in the industry seeking greater operating efficiency or lower energy costs, as well as ways to operate completely outside the carbon cycle, extend equipment life for greater durability and reliability, and realize replacement cost savings by refurbishing or rerating equipment, Osbourne adds.

Concepts NREC will host its free two-hour Turbomachinery CAE software workshops in Room 327 at the Hilton Americas Hotel at 1600 Lamar in Houston. The dates and times are:

> Wednesday, September 16, 9:00 - 11:00 a.m.

Agile 2009 (http://www.conceptsnrec.com/software_cae.html): Upgraded with over 40 new CAE features and enhancements, Agile 2009 will provide turbomachinery engineers with new design and analysis capabilities. These upgrades were developed in response to feedback from Concepts NREC'ss Agile Software Users's Group for the benefit of existing and new users. With this release, Concepts NREC underscores its fully integrated engineering, design, and machining capabilities for developing more effective and efficient turbomachinery.

The 38th Turbomachinery Symposium will run September 14 through September 17. Concepts NREC will be a key exhibitor at this exposition in booth #1223/1225.
