The Department of Defense, Office of the Deputy CIO will present its DoD Enterprise Architecture Achievement (DEAA) Awards at their Annual DoD Enterprise Architecture Conference (http://www.ndia.org/DoDEntArchitecture/Pages/default.aspx) in St Louis, Missouri, hosted by the AFEI.
The DEAA (http://www.ndia.org/DoDEntArchitecture/Pages/default.aspx#awards) awards recognize significant
contributions and achievements in advancing the state of practice of enterprise architecture as an enabler of information advantage for the Department of Defense. The DEAA awards align
with the strategic goals of the Deputy CIO - leading the DoD enterprise to achieve an information advantage for its people and partners.
Awards were presented to the winners in each of four categories.
The Government Individual DEAA Award was presented to:

In reviewing the award submissions, Mr. Brian Wilczynski, Director, Enterprise Architecture 's38; Standards, Office of the DoD CIO (http://www.ndia.org/DoDEntArchitecture/Pages/default.aspx#awards) said, The quality of all the candidates was
exceptional; it is rewarding to see the dedication and perseverance of so many groups and individuals who support our DoD missions through the architecting profession. The awardees
