InfinityQS Announces Keynote Speaker for Infusion 2009



InfinityQS's174; International, the leading provider of quality control software solutions, today announced that Simon Jacobson, research director for AMR Research, will be the keynote speaker at the third annual user conference, Infusion 2009 (http://www.infinityqs.com/infusion). Jacobson will be delivering an address titled Quality'ss Role in Driving Down Manufacturing Costs. The annual event is scheduled for Oct. 3 to Oct. 7, 2009 on San Antonio'ss famed River Walk.



The theme of the conference this year is From Data to Dollars with a focus on helping manufacturers uncover potential areas for cost savings in the areas of scrap, rework, defects, cycle time, warranty claims, data collection, reports, and recalls. Attendees will have an opportunity to learn specific techniques for better aligning manufacturing specifications with business requirements.



Users at the conference will participate in networking events, meet one-on-one with InfinityQS staff, and attend expert-led sessions to help their companies reduce quality costs, meet customer requirements, and comply with standards and regulations. Infusion will also feature hands-on training sessions for SPC software (ProFicient 4), and the Software as a Service (SaaS) solution eSPC.



Keynote speaker Simon Jacobson is a member of AMR Research'ss Engineering and Manufacturing Operations team where he examines how manufacturers apply IT within both the local production environment and across the entire product supply network. He provides insights on technology markets, including Enterprise Manufacturing Intelligence (EMI), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Quality Management Systems (QMS), as well as the evolving role of manufacturing-focused service providers.
