Integral Systems Honored as 2009 Region III Prime Contractor of theYear

The U.S. Small Business Administration has honored Integral Systems at its 2009 National Small Business Week as the Region III Prime Contractor of the Year. The Small Business Prime Contractor of the Year Award recognizes small businesses that have provided government and industry with outstanding goods and services as prime or sub contractors. Region III includes Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, and the District of Columbia.

We are honored to receive this distinction from the Small Business Administration, said Integral Systems CEO John Higginbotham. Small business owners, corporate leaders, government officials and volunteers from across the country were in Washington, D.C. for the U.S. Small Business Administration National Small Business Week two-day conference, which honored five major award events for their achievements as America'ss top entrepreneurs. The contracting awards recognize these businesses and organizations for their commitment to providing contracting and subcontracting opportunities to small, women-owned and small disadvantaged businesses.

Integral Systems develops integrated technology solutions for satellite interfaced systems for government and commercial customers. The company has served the U.S. Air Force, NASA, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and satellite operators around the globe for more than 25 years.
