Sage Technologies Ltd. Exhibits ADDER PL at SpecOps 2009Warfighter...

Sage Technologies, Ltd., headquartered in Warminster, PA., today announced the addition of its ADDER family of products. The ADDER PL will be formally introduced at the SpecOps 2009 Warfighter Symposium and Expo to be held April 20-23 in Fayetteville, NC. The ADDER PL will go on sale in North America in the third quarter of 2009 and will bring significant performance capabilities to its thermal imaging applications.

The ADDER PL has a modular design that allows for flexible adaptation to meet varied operating conditions. The Remote Camera Unit (RCU) unit can be mounted on vehicles, vessels and ground devices. It'ss completely un-tethered -- no cable or power connections are required between the RCU and the Monitor -- allowing easy installation, portability and system sharing. ADDER'ss greater detection range can identify partially hidden human targets, recently fired weapons and buried devices.

The ADDER PL is a portable digital wireless sensor system that can be delivered with a variety of thermal and video cameras to provide differing thermal imaging camera resolutions and transmission ranges.

The ADDER PL is configured with both a thermal imaging camera and a color video camera. The RCU can be equipped with either a 320x240 resolution thermal imaging camera or a 640x480 resolution thermal imaging camera. It also can accommodate a shortwave infrared (SWIR) camera of 640 x 520 resolution.

The nominal range for the system'ss line of sight wireless digital transmission is one kilometer which can be extended with custom antenna configurations.

The ADDER PL includes rechargeable power packs that permit 3 hours of continuous use. In combination with auxiliary power (solar/wind power resources), the ADDER is ideal for long-term fixed or mobile surveillance solutions.

Enhanced situational awareness translates into fewer war fighter casualties and more effective military operations, said Major General Tony Corwin, USMC (Ret.). With the introduction of its low cost digital wireless thermal imaging systems, Sage seeks to support the military'ss need for enhanced situational awareness.
