Wolf Aviation Fund Awards Grant to WingsOverKansas.com.

The Wolf Aviation Fund has awarded a generous grant to Wings Over Kansas, a premier aviation web site located at www.wingsoverkansas.com, for developing Aviation Education Pioneer lesson plans to help students and teachers explore the subject of aviation and aerospace in the classroom.



The lesson plans, added monthly, cover the subjects of history, language arts and technology. Many of these lessons tie in with existing feature article content and with resource link connections. Each lesson plan includes Learning Objectives, Education Standards, Procedures and Suggestions for Extension of the lessons. Content Standards Advisor was Lisa Heiert, Social Studies Dept. Chair, Wichita, Kansas High School West.



This growing aviation web site adds new content information weekly from aviation industry sources, authors and historians. Of value to the General and Military Aviation audience alike are subjects on Aviation News, History, Education, Photos, Careers, Pioneer Profiles and Feature articles.
