Baby Boomers talk about their Internet Dating Experiences.

Beverly Mahone, author of the book, Whatever! A Baby Boomer'ss Journey Into Middle Age, says members of her generation are giving a thumbs up to on-line dating. In her latest podcast, Ms. Mahone asked middle-aged men and women why they chose internet dating, would they do it again or recommend it to a friend.

My research reveals the fact that over seven million people have used an on-line dating service, says Ms. Mahone, who adds that as people get older the qualities they'sre looking for in a mate changes dramatically. Looks and physical appearance used to rank at the top of the list when we were twenty-something, according to Ms. Mahone, but at middle age you realize beauty is only skin deep and there are other important qualities such as personality, spirituality and goal-oriented interests. Internet dating sites such as babyboomerpeoplemeet.com and findlovehere.com are proving to be attractive places for finding a mate, says the baby boomer author and expert.

Ms. Mahone personally relates to the topic of internet dating because that'ss how she met her current husband.
