The AFRO Announces Extensive Obama Campaign Coverage Leading up to Super Tuesday
The AFRO will have journalists covering these final days leading up to the Super Tuesday election. Such journalist will be filing reports from selected states including Alabama, California, Georgia, Illinois, and New York. Each day, a report from one of these states containing an informative news article and photos will be posted on the AFRO FTP website, ftp://ftp.afro.com (username: press and password: ftp-237).
"The intent of this in-depth coverage is to provide a snapshot of some of the perspectives and expectations of voters and candidates as we approach Tuesday's delegate election", said Jake Oliver, AFRO Publisher & CEO. "The AFRO has been in the forefront of many major political events and this should be no different. It is hoped that this information will be used to enhance the print and web coverage of those accessing the FTP website"
The Afro-American newspapers, with editions in Washington and Baltimore, was founded in 1892 and has been at the forefront of covering the history making events that have helped define the African-American community over the last 115 years.
