Jasmyn soon gets the shock of her life when she is told that she is HIV positive. Her journey after learning her status becomes one of soul searching, backtracking and prayer. Vonetta Pierce is a native of Philadelphia Pennsylvania but currently resides in Delaware where she is a mother and high school teacher. Ms. Pierce has a strong spiritual background and believes that the youth of today needs to be educated about sexual health issues. Her ability to communicate and identify with the perils of teens have allowed her to become a mentor to her students and a sought after speaker at youth programs and schools.
