About the Creators of NEK-BONZ

Eve & Fred Ozer are the co-inventors of NEK-BONZ. They have over 50 years of combined automotive product and marketing experience. They currently run the Morgan Design Group, which provides customized brand kits for special edition vehicles. They count General Motors and Ford as two of their major clients and have worked with them on projects in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, and Europe.

On a research trip to Asia, they were in a taxi where the driver had a makeshift pillow attached to his headrest. He said that it remedied the annoying and stressful gap between his neck and the headrest. The couple realized the practicality and potential of the concept and the original NEK-BONZ was invented.

Returning to the states they worked with a local fabric designer to develop an ergonomic pattern designed to provide the ultimate comfort and support while driving or riding. After several design patterns, they found the most comfortable was shaped like an oversized stuffed dog bone. After making many prototypes, they found this shape cradled the cervical spine and allowed the head to rest back comfortably.

That is the reason the name NEK-BONZ was chosen - NEK because it supports the neck and BONZ because it's shaped like a big comfortable dog bone. The logo is in memory of their dog, Soans, a Cavalier King Charles that recently passed away.

Fred & Eve are excited to bring the original NEK-BONZ to the marketplace.
