Exosect Capitalises on South Africas Growing Market

Exosect, a leading provider of Intelligent Pest Management solutions based in Winchester, today announced that it has responded to a 100% increase in demand for Exosex CM from South African distributor Terason, with the appointment of dedicated Sales Development Manager for the region, Mark Batt.

"Terason is a market leader in the provision of crop solutions to the agricultural industry and the technology Exosect brings to the table with Exosex CM, is another helpful tool in providing integrated crop solutions to a very demanding market. Before joining Exosect, Batt was at the English fruit marketing company Norman Collett Ltd and responsible for the quality assurance on a yearly throughput of 16-20,000 tonnes of apples and pears for companies such as Tesco, Somerfield and the Cooperative, dealing with both supermarkets and grower requirements. Prior to this he has worked with the largest farming operation in the UK Co-Op Farmcare, dealing with growth data, nutrient analysis and quality issues during harvesting. Batt holds an HND in Agriculture with Business Management.

Exosect's appointment of Mark Batt is the latest announcement of both domestic and international growth from Exosect in 2007. It follows a 300% increase in production at its facility in Hampshire, UK, as a result of overall increases in demand, as well as the launch of its products in the USA, New Zealand and South Africa.
