The CEOs of Australia's top wool bodies will be speaking the Sheep and Wool Showcase forum held at 'The Grange' Merino stud at Hamilton, Victoria Australia on 2 Sep 2005. This event is one of a kind and has not been seen before in the Australian Wool industry. Presenting will be Australian Wool Innovation, The Woolmark Company, Australian Wool Growers Assoc., Modiano Ltd & National Australia Bank. They will be speaking on the direction they are proposing to take the Australian wool industry with regard to marketing, innovation and the PETA agreement.

The Grange is proud to host the Sheep and Wool Showcase. A one of a kind forum at which the CEO's of Australia's wool industry will be speaking. The day aims to discuss the latest issues within the Australian wool industry.

*    Ms Brenda McGahan, Managing Director of the Woolmark Company on Marketing Australian Wool

*    Dr Len Stephens, CEO Australian Wool Innovation on Innovation: The key to Wool's future and will also be touching on targeting the China apparel market.

*    Mr Chick Olsson, Chairman Australian Wool Growers Association on the ethics of producing wool, the PETA agreement and plans for marketing mulseing free wool.

*    Mr Mike Carroll, the General Manager for Agribusiness Financial Services - National Australia Bank on The Future of Agribusiness in Australia. National Australia Bank are Austalia's largest rural lender.

*    Matt Gabbe, G.Modiano Ltd - The perspective of Europe's largest wool processor.

*    Mr Graeme Cook, Livestock Manager with Ararat Abattoirs on Merinos in the Meat Trade & how quality assurance can boost your profit.

Also present will be The Hon David Hawker MP, Speaker of the House of Representatives and Member for Wannon.

Officially opened at 10am and concludes at approximately 3pm.
