Farm Garden Launches a Format

June 3, 2005 -- Farm & Garden changes to a periodical publication schedule. The new format allows Farm & Garden to provide seasonal information on a regular basis to our readers. The response to our changeover has been overwhelmingly positive!

Here's what you'll find this month on Farm & Garden.

Columns

GardenZone (June 6): In this edition of GardenZone Linda explores gardeners and their gardens gone, but not forgotten in "A Gardener Lived Here."

CSA Farmer (June 13): Beth Lambert Hook ponders the excitement and leanness of opening day for a CSA in Zone 5 with her contribution "Opening Day."

Heavy Horses (June 13): A new addition to Farm & Garden. Heavy Horses is a hands-on column on the subject of draft horses. This month Paul Muller gets us started with "The Practicality of Horse Farming."

Cornucopia (June 20): Janet Defever shares her enthusiasm for volunteer gardening projects as she presents some unique and interesting ways to be active within your community in "Volunteerism."

Market Farmer (June 27): TBD - Author/Farmer is a bit buried with spring planting and start up.
