Maya Abdominal Massage Workshop to be Held June 1012 In Los Angeles Area



June 3, 2005 -- In collaboration with naturopathic student, Wendy Ibrahim, Dr. Christine Anderson will be hosting a three-day workshop June 10th through June 12, in the foothills of Altadena, on the Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Massage. The Arvigo techniques are centered around the Ancient Mayan techniques, which reposition organs that have dropped and restricted the flow of blood, lymph, nerve and chi energy. Maya Abdominal Massage has a long history of preventing and alleviating many common gynecological problems in women, as well as increasing the alignment of organs and overall flow of energy in the body. The practice is also helpful for men's prostate function, digestive health and low back pain. Elizabeth Quigg, a certified instructor of the technique from Austin, Texas, will be instructing the workshop. During the three-day workshop, participants will be learning about self-care techniques. However, those who are already healing professionals have an opportunity to use this workshop as a prerequisite for becoming certified practitioners of the Arvigo Technique for Abdominal Massage.
