Just 23 years old, Bozzone was in third place after the 1.2 mile swim, finished the 56-mile bike leg in second then took the lead early in the 13.1-mile run. He won with a total time of 3:40:10 - a new course record.



This is the biggest win of my career, said Bozzone after the race. I couldn'st have dreamed of a better way to finish the 2008 season.
