Oceans Inspire Planet Protect Sportswear Tshirts for Women

One of the country's only sportswear companies dedicated to preventing and fighting plastic pollution in our oceans is offering a line of T-shirts especially for women. Planet Protect Sportswear, based in Lake Oswego, Oregon, is selling three t-shirts with ocean inspired themes of swirling water, poetry and a simple message - Protect Our Oceans. All three organic cotton T-shirts are available at www.planetprotect.com, for only $15.00 each and a portion of each sale goes to the non-profit ocean advocacy group - Oceana.

The levels of ocean based plastic pollution are increasing at alarming rates. The designers at Planet Protect Sportswear designed these T-Shirts to help remind people the value of our oceans.

Planet Protect founder - Jim Beriault, a long-time ocean advocate has made it his company's mission to raise awareness about protecting our oceans and to alert his customers and web site visitors about the dangers of plastic pollution. "We are small company and completely dedicated to raising awareness about plastic going into our oceans. Our beautiful shirts for women are a swirling and gentle reminder of what we must protect."

Beriault recently traveled to Washington DC to meet with congressional representatives and the EPA to learn more about the problem and what to do.

Planet Protect's primary goal is to provide responsible fashions and to fight against pollution and protect our most valuable resources for future generations. During the check-out process the Planet Protect customer can designate 10% of their total purchase to Oceana or the Planet Protect Fund (the company's lobbying fund). Planet Protect Sportswear can be found on the web at www.PlanetProtect.com.

The Ocean Series for women are 100% organic cotton and made of US materials.

It's important to note that Planet Protect Sportswear makes their donations based on the total purchase price (excluding shipping and handling charges) of the customer and this donation comes from Planet Protect's gross profit as a company and is not tax deductible on the customer's part.

Planet Protect Sportswear is based in Lake Oswego, Oregon and is dedicated to making a difference with each and every purchase made by their customers. Featuring summerwear and leisurewear made from a mix of sustainable and natural fibers and features companies striving to minimize their eco-footprint, available at www.PlanetProtect.com.
