Midnight Talks paints a down-to-earth, funny picture of a group of friends - singles in a big city - who, against all odds and stereotypes, are desperately trying to find their "other half". It's a cheerful and inspiring story about people who are meant to be together, but don't know it yet, and in the meantime are looking for love in all the wrong places.
An exclusive world premiere will be held at the Rex cinema in Soho to launch the film, which will be attended by the main cast and crew from the film, along with some of the most influential Polish key figures living in London.
Piotr Reisch, President of SPI, and producer of Midnight Talks, said "I believed in this project from the very start. The screenplay was so good that we decided to produce it right away. I think movie fans everywhere will appreciate it, but not only as great entertainment; Midnight Talks has this inspiring quality of showing everyday problems from a different, more cheerful angle. It's a wonderful movie".
Anna Godas, director of The Polish Connection, says: "I'm thrilled to have such an important company as SPI working with us on this release. Releasing films at the same time with Poland not only will minimize piracy risk but will also dramatically increase box-office potential among the UK audiences."
The Polish Connection is a Dogwoof Ltd venture, supported by the Polish Cultural Institute in London and the Polish Film Institute in Warsaw.
