Depressionist Mothers Art on Auction Young Woman Is Trying a Second Time to Hit the Target on eBay With a Vase her Mother Made While Hospitalized With Manic Depression
May 26, 2005 -- Art knows NO boundaries she states in the subject line. It's apparent that eBay holds no boundaries as well. With many auctions in
hopes that the buying power of Golden Palace Casino strikes, this young lady has really set a story of which anyone would want to help. "Depression can affect anyone at anytime. We are not immortal beings."
The maker of the vase was suffering a manic episode and tossed many personal items into the garbage not recognizing the meaning they had to her daughter. The daughter states she is in
hopes that a collector or a generous bidder who values anything will bid on the vase. The first auction ended in a $20.25 value and this new auction has already peeked at this with a reserve set. Only nine days remain in this touching auction. With great depressionist artists like Van Gogh in mind this vase would be a great addition to anyones collection.
Upon a brief interview with the young lady she stated that "In effort of my moms beautiful vase I hope not only to help her find some meaning in things she does but also to hopefully one day start more auctions on eBay of depressionist artists who have not yet seen what the world has to offer."
She
hopes that the auction reaches a kind donation value in order to give some proceeds to a Christmas gift-giving hospital program and to help with in-patient programs like the art program her mother participated to make the vase.
