
Big Screen Entertainment announces as part of the corporate restructuring that has been planned for the company since last year, three new Board Members with extensive entertainment and film experience have replaced three Board Members that were part of Broadleaf Capital, a management consulting firm that came aboard in July 2004 for a twelve (12) month term, the term expiring June 30, 2005.
Hollywood, CA July 7, 2005 - Big Screen Entertainment (OTC: BSEG) announces as part of the corporate restructuring that has been planned for the company since last year, three new Board Members with extensive entertainment and film experience have replaced three Board Members that were part of Broadleaf Capital, a management consulting firm that came aboard in July 2004 for a twelve (12) month term, the term expiring June 30, 2005.
BSEG, President, Kimberley Kates states, "Broadleaf was of great assistance with certain events within the company. At this time we are moving forward with our next phase of expansion. It has always been our plan to have individuals with film and television knowledge on the Board of Directors who understand the various aspects of the entertainment business. Big Screen has an extremely busy film slate over the next year. The company requires experienced individuals in the film business to assist in making this happen."
The three new Board Members and Officers are David Zappone, Michael Manasseri and Rosslyn Hornsby.
Mr. Zappone is named VP of Development. Mr. Zappone received a B.A. in Drama from Vassar College, studied with the prestigious New York Stage and Film Company and is a founding member of the Burt Reynolds Acting Company in Jupiter, Florida. Mr. Zappone is Vice President of the Francis T. Zappone Co., one of the largest commercial real estate companies in central Connecticut, he is also a principal in JTK Enterprises and Realprop Inc., investment companies with extensive holdings in the Northeast.
Michael Manasseri is named Executive Vice President. Mr. Manasseri has twenty years experience in film, television and stage. As an actor, Mr. Manasseri starred in such projects as "Weird Science" for the USA Television Network and the film "License to Drive" for 20th Century Fox. Mr. Manasseri has written seven screenplays, which are in various stages of development and production; he also produced, "Dirty Love" for Big Screen.
Rosslyn Hornsby has been promoted to VP of Publicity and Marketing.
The three new Board Members replace Robert Braner and Charles Snipes of Broadleaf Capital, and Herb Goldman.
BSEG President, Kimberley Kates and BSEG Founder, BJ Davis just returned from a week's shoot for the BSEG film, Forget About It, in Hoboken, New Jersey, starring Burt Reynolds, Raquel Welch and Charles Durning, directed and produced by Davis and Kates. Ms. Kates stated, "Hoboken provided postcard locations and huge production value to the film, currently scheduled for a September 2005 release. The shoot went better than expected and the footage is spectacular."
