Governments Disgracefully Negligent In Its Role Of Hurricane Katrina Relief To Americans

Some Canadians are appalled at the lack of organized effort to send critical supplies down to the USA to assist in the relief effort of Hurricane Katrina, said Stuart Weinstein of Xtreme Complaints, a watchdog group dedicated to breaking down barriers to entrepreneurship. He said, this is generally the response Canada gives when it is asked to take any responsibility in order to prove itself as a world leading country.

Instead, Canada continues to lead the way in stifling entrepreneurship and reinforcing poverty with its antiquated policies.

While all three levels of government bicker, thousands and thousands of people are in serious need of non-perishable supplies such as water, soap, toothpaste, blankets, food and changes of clothes.

Repeated pleas for assistance by several different organizations in the United States have been ignored by Canadian officials on all levels. Instead, each level waits on the next to take the lead.

To compound matters, there are continuing stories of the financial institutions are wanting to set up mobile offices to ensure that everyone makes mortgage payment on the houses that are not there. Collection agencies want the phone systems back on so that they continue with their harassing phone calls. Credit card companies are looking to offer special "Hurricane Usurious Rates" and only charge 20% instead of 28.8% to show compassion.

Some gas stations are gouging in the face of diminished oil supply. All over the United States, gas prices are climbing, topping $3 a gallon in some areas.

The United States requires help now It is imperative that the child-like behavior, and sandbox mentality end and leadership values take precedent to immediately organize the desperately required supplies for the Hurricane Katrina victims.
