May 29, 2005 -- Jim Ford, 23 from Boston Ma has been in the city of New York only a few months and already has seen great sucess in his pursuit of acting. After graduating college in 04
from University of Hartford where he majored in partying and acting, he took a lead role in an action film that was shot in Marthas Vineyard. It was filmed by award winning independent
director Taylor Toole of Ocean Park pictures. As filming was coming to a close Jim started selling cars in Mass. to save up for his big "actor" move to either New york or L.A. but when he
was choosen out of 500 guys to play the lead in an MTV pilot titled "Parental Approval" he decided New york was the place to move. After only a few short months Jim met with agent Micheal
Amato of the Micheal Amato Agency and he was off. Off broadway plays, print jobs and commercials just kept coming. Recently JIm just booked and completed a commercial for The World Poker
Tour Championship, where he plays a cowboy. The commercial will air net month on Travel Channel, Discovery Channel and ESPN. Currently, Jim is filming and inde-horror where he plays the
lead role of Tim Hall. Jim will start shooting a dramatic music video for the new band Mattafix this week.
He owes his success so far to his support of his parents, friends and the lord. He also says he could not have done it without a strong sense of determination and ability to think outside
the box.
