Atelier Arts New York artists Mark Vinsun, painter;Luis Carle, artist/photographer; and Moses Fragela, painter have been invited by Dr. Raul Oyuela, Director of the Museum Of Americas,
Miami Florida to exhibit at Crisolart gallery in Barcelona, Spain during the month of October.
For these 3 artists of latino heritage to show for the first time in Spain the motherland of their heritage is a personal dream. They get to showcase the spanish influence in their art.
These three artists of Puerto Rican heritage are showing a unifying latino vision. Like Luis Carle s El Pan De Cada Dia a series of three photo/negatives in black and white and yellowish
sepia of fishes ; that reminds the viewer of the fishes that jesus fed the multitudes according to the bible; to Mark Vinsun s abstract vision in Los Cipros.
Where one can see the vibrant colors of a dry land devoid of colorfull vegetation except for a lone cyprus tree the green so brilliant against a mixed sky dry and bright it brings the
viewer into a desert like land; and finally Moses Fragela, the youngest of the 3 artists, abstract visions of latino thoughts; they are very dark and spiderlike with veins of colors
showing moods as in Abstract #8 the vivid color green and bass relief in off-white really sets off the imagination into what mental state a person is in. Green is usually associated with
either envy or money two powerful forces in todays society.
These three artists have talent lets hope the audience in Spain can see it. George Urbane, critic
