Crooner Brian Evans will begin recording his new album in March, after a trip to Europe to meet with event planners.
Brian Evans, the crooner that has been performing as the opening act for both Jay Leno and Joan Rivers, will begin recording his new album in March.
The CD, which will feature ten original songs and two covers, will be recorded at The Record Plant in Hollywood. It will features songs such as Planet Blue, Croonerman, and I'sm A
Traveler, among others.
Next week, Evans will jet off to London to appear at the opening night presentation of Equus, and will then meet with various event planners to capitolize on his current inclusion in the
corporate event magazine Stand Out. Evans was featured in an ITunes ad in People Magazines Sexiest Man Alive issue which featured actor George Clooney on the cover.
Arrangements were being created by Harvey R. Cohen, the two-time Emmy Award winner. Cohen telephoned Evans to advise him that the arrangements were complete, but Mr. Cohen passed away
just one day later suddenly.
I am really looking forward to recording this album for a number of reasons, but mainly as a testament to the tremendous talents of Harvey R. Cohen, says Evans.
Last week, Evans performed at The FBR Open Golf Tournament along with The Doobie Brothers, who also performed during the event.
We are talking to numerous record labels at this time, and we'sll decide our next step pretty soon, says Evans. This will most definitely be released on a major record label, and it'ss
the first album I'sve recorded that will be as such.
