Curing Cancer With Karaoke Benefit for the Lance Armstrong Foundation...

May 27, 2005 -- Curing Cancer With Karaoke promises that supporters of cancer research and survivorship will have a fun evening of karaoke at the venerable Mint Lounge in San Francisco on Sunday, June 19, 2005, from 4 pm to 8 pm. The Mint Lounge is at 1942 Market Street in San Francisco.



Participants are urged to get sponsorship for singing their favorite song while strutting their stuff at the Mint.



This benefit will raise funds for the LiveStrong campaign of the Lance Armstrong Foundation, supporting advocacy, education and research for a cure for cancer. The Wear Yellow LiveStrong campaign helps people with cancer live strong, survive and thrive.



The Mint Lounge Open Karaoke Bar has over 20,000 songs to choose from. Participants raising the most money will have their songs recorded on a CD. There will be auctions and raffles for a variety of great prizes.



Come on out, sing on out, have a good time and do a good thing for cancer survivorship.
